Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about supporting our mission

How do you select which projects to implement?

We work directly with communities to identify their most pressing needs. Our team conducts assessments and community meetings to prioritize projects that will have the greatest impact on elder well-being while promoting community ownership.

Can I volunteer for specific projects?

Yes! We welcome volunteers with various skills. Whether you're a healthcare professional, educator, or simply want to spend time with elders, we have opportunities available. Contact us to discuss how your skills can best serve our community projects.

How do you ensure project sustainability?

We design projects with sustainability as a core principle. This includes training local community members to manage projects, creating income-generating components, and building partnerships with local organizations to ensure continuity.

Can I designate my donation to a specific project?

Absolutely. When making your donation, you can specify which project you'd like to support. If you don't designate a specific project, your contribution will go to our greatest need.

How can my organization partner with Ubuntu?

We welcome corporate and organizational partnerships. Contact our partnerships team at partnerships@ubuntuelderlycare.org to discuss collaboration opportunities, employee volunteering, or corporate sponsorship programs.
